No, of course not. There's just a thing about stimulants in the UK. My doctor might not have been clear about the distinction. He reffered to it as "an amphetamine-like drug". My post was intended to warn that some doctors might be ignorant and may indeed be outraged if asked to prescribe it.

I have changed doctors since then. This new one has been very open to experiment. I think he would give me Provigil if there was just cause. I responded very badly to adrafinil - it actually worsened my fatigue. He is giving me Parnate (which is very daring of him) and that has always given me the desired effect when I've taken it in the past.
