I didn't have health insurance, so after I'd felt better for a few months, instead of refilling my prescription, I just weaned myself off of it. It was really a great medication for me, I didn't have any symptoms from withdrawal either.

The reason I asked was because back in Nov. or Dec., I got a prescription for lex for mild anxiety, and mild depression. I took it for about 4 days and got anxious about the way it was making me feel (the side effects) and then quit. I've thought about trying it again, but part of my concern is what happens when you stop taking it. If you get used to life being good and feeling good in general, when you stop I would imagine that you would feel worse about things than before you started.
Also if the celexa worked better for you, why not go back to it now.....or maybe lexapro?
thanks for taking the time to respond.
