I tried SJW for about a year. I am now on Celexa. Celexa works better. I have no weight gain or appetite increase but some people do get that with AD's. I would stay on the Celexa and try to add something for appetite such as Wellbutrin, a stimulant, or possible SJW. But once again, I would stay on Celexa since it is working for you.

> I have been on celexa for 9 months and I really like it. I feel very normal and productive in my life whereas before I was anxious, worried a lot, had general depression, etc. The only thing is that it has made me gain weight. I went from a size 3 to sizes 6,8 and 10. Had to replace part of my wardrobe which was pretty expensive. I have been attempting to wean myself off of celexa and switch to St John's Wort which is an herbal alternative. In my online research, it seems as though many many people have successfully made the transition to the herbal alternative and love it. I'm experiencing depression, irritability, dizzy spells while trying to get off the celexa. I'm trying to get my own business off the ground and have a lot of new people to deal with and big decisions to make so I'm gonna go back to the celexa until the timing is a little better to make the switch. Has anyone else here had experiences getting off celexa? Anyone who moved to the herbal successfully?
