> I take 50 mg of Zoloft daily and since I began taking it, I have been having horrible dreams at night. Dreams of losing my family, of people being after me, wanting to do me harm, etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I also have terrible headaches almost daily that nothing helps to make them go away. Is this related to something else? I really like the Zoloft, it has helped me with my depression, but the dreams are getting worse as the months go by.

I also am on 50mg zoloft/day. I have always been a very vivid dreamer with an impressive recall, however, so I cannot say that the zoloft has increased my dreaming (or my memories of my dreams) or anything like that. I think, though, that the incidence of violent dreams has increased. My dreams have always been extremely weird, but I think the violence against people I love is more prominent. It doesn't disturb me that much, though - I guess because I am used to dreaming vividly.

I got headaches and stomach upsets for the first few days. Now, my tummy is fine, and I get the occassional headache - but I couldn't say if this was because of the zoloft. How long have you been on the medication?

This probably hasn't been that helpful for you, if only to remind you that you aren't alone. We are always here for you, and there is sure to be someone who has experienced what you are going through.

Best wishes, Rach
