Compassion keeps us going!

Some people are pretty cool. For me a pep talk can work as well or better than medication. Immediately, with no side effects. Sometimes I feel like everyone is out to get me. It takes good people to convince me of the opposite. I guess you could call it love. Not everyone is able or willing to give it to you. And I think that this fact is why many are here in a pretty miserable state. We must reach out to those willing and able to love us.

I wish my father had given me some pep talks. I might not have ended up deeply depressed. But he hasn't and it seems to me that he can't.

we do here on babble, just .. we have supporters here, but its more postings, but early babble years, they did have pep talk, yes....there were some therapists, or i got advice, from people in the early years very well, they went deep in my situation, but at that time, and still it's not gonna be helped through advice. I have to put things together, i feel i talk to people, and have things deep things inside, that even if i talk, it wouldn't make a difference, i would still have it and even though i talked to people.

But yes, maybe we can do pep talk here, more in depth giving insight as posters and friends, i know you definitely It's a vent to let people hear it, and they know about it. We have main posters, familiar with, back in mid 2000s there was tons like a active talk show. Also more conflict and attacking people, arguments. Today it's peaceful.

there's a quote from a movie i've heard, from v for vendetta : "i hope that to whoever you are you escape this place, i hope that world turns and things get better, but what i hope most of all is to know that even though i do know you, and that i will never meet you, laugh with you, or be with you, i love you" - it was a note in a prison hidden under bricks, just that one letter and that one person reading it, they kept it with them when they left. I guess, as something that they never knew them, but they told them they loved them.

but anyways....not feeling loved can have a emotional impact. But i think just pep talks like you said, why you don't you gather some people that you know, and just intellect structure and start talking with them. Learn how to start the conversation to get them to listen to you. Like a buddy system, or support circle. It would help
