I don't get it? Why a trial? Been divorced a few times and never a problem after the wait. Judge just looked at the finances of both and decided who got what and how much? Phillipa

The state allows a period of time for mediations and negotiations to take place, in order to avoid court. It hasn't worked. He warned me he would make this very hard. Wasn't lying.
I am so anxious I get nauseous every day.

I have a court date, finally. It will have been almost a year since I filed. At least now the judge has an inkling of why I left.
