what does peace really mean in these hard times?
A coworker said that if we just laid down our arms today we would have peace.
I pray for that to happen.

I scan this site to its virtual horizon and see so many utterly delicate and exquisitely beautiful creatures. It's as if the unicorn figurine from Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie" had been multiplied into scores of glittering crystal figures -- each unique in its own way -- who had then had life breathed into them. The vista is at once both stunning and moving. I tried to kill myself this past spring. I came very close to not being here for this Christmas. I'm thankful I survived. I really want that for everyone here. A second chance. A new beginning. A new year. Happy Christmas. Atticus
