Dear Dinah

I haven't been here as much as I would like, or maybe as much as I should, and I feel as if I have missed so much. I have read several of your threads regarding your parents and I became distant in regards to them because the stories were so very close to home. I tend to do that when I find out something I can't handle, or is too much like my own life. Now I wish I had of stuck with it. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is very hard to lose a parent and even harder to try to go on without them. Dinah, I am sorry that I haven't tried to get to know you better. I truely am.....I will rectify that as best I can.

I do the same thing, Ada Grace. I probably avoid the threads that cut too close to home more than I do the threads that I can't relate to at all.

I infer from what you wrote that you have had a loss as well. I'm sorry for that.

I look forward to getting to know you. :)

I'm very sorry to read of your father's death, I lost both parents in my teen years. It really doesn't matter how old you are when it happens- it's always a devastating loss.
I hope you are taking care of yourself Dinah- judy

Thanks, Judy. (nm)
