Hi Gabbi, I'm glad that you seem to feel better. I hoped that the jokes would garner at least 10 seconds of escape. Sounds as if your trip to the Dr. really made a difference in your mindset. That's good news for now. Sorry if I seem fixated on you but I seem to pick a friend and stay close. I hope that's not creepy or something. And God please don't call me a "sweetheart" that makes a man feel "cute." Ha! So if you're still on the board tonight, i've got something for you(not much). Chio...did I spell that right? Bobby

Hi Bobby,
I can't believe men don't like to be called sweetheart. What about sweetie? I consider it a high compliment. Incidentally I hope you didn't take it personally when Doc Bob gave you the PBC. I remember reading it in the FAQ that joking about suicide is not allowed. Yes, I'm the type who always reads the directions.

I'm the type who scans directions and hope something registers, and for me the not joking about suicide is honestly the only one that I could answer if tested.
I'm going to study them as homework tonight, (seriously) I mean if Dinah had to block me her therapist would probably be getting more than a new car.

Okay Bobby you brute.. no I don't find your attention creepy, although judging from the men I usually think are trustworthy that in itself is kind of creepy....:)
I am feeling better, thanks, and hopeful, I want to tell you about my Michael Franks search episode but have brain depletion. Its less from the meds I think than the fact that I ran out of coffee, and could gather initiative to brave the store without having a coffee first. Which means tomorrow I'm really hooped.

Regarding Mel Gibson,
He's one I never found attractive,I saw how people could feature wise but for some reason his aura I can only describe as reminiscent of an overstuffed armchair. And that was my reaction long before I could blame it on medication.

Will attempt to be more enthusiastic (but still restrained tomorrow.)

Love
Gabbi

Well, I thought he was really hot in the first Mad Max, and in the Year of Living Dangerously. By Braveheart, he just looked middle-aged, beefy, and dull. This bugs me, since he's about the age of men I reasonably ought to be dating. I keep trying to find some reason other than aging to explain it, but I can't. Seems like evidence I'm on my way to becoming a creepy middle-aged lady who's only (hopelessly) attracted to the cute young guys who work at Starbucks.

what to call you, then? » Bobby

So what do men like to be called? Sugarbuns? Honeycomb? Pounding Panther?

Spooky Tabitha, Just yesterday I saw this guy who was all lean and had that "gotcha" natural kind of sexy, and I realized... I could be his mother,
it shocked me because I suddenly realized I've never found anyone my age attractive and my thoughts were 'Oh I'm going to be like one of those overtanned facelifted "older women" who invites the kid who mows her lawn in for Ice tea....
Though, the fact that I find Jean-Luc Picard (forgot his real name) sexy sort of reassures me, sort of....

And you know the terrible corollary of this-- if those men who were so hot at 26 are yucky at 45, what does that mean about US? Oh, now I'm going to have to go cry.

I think Pounding Panther would satisfy him..LOL (nm) » Medusa

Thats terrible you made me laugh hysterically at your mad ROOFLES theories, and I've gone and made you cry.
Well, Roo had a fabulous Idea, and I dared to say you would be into it too, that will make you smile. She suggested a Funny Farm for the female babblers where we could have our medication served with daquiris by Cabana boys in loin cloths. While we lounge and discuss life.. I think it sounds delicious.

Aw, OK :) enough sobbing about my inflating thighs and lost youth for one day.

But no daiquiries and cabana boys for me. I really want starbucks boys serving me iced lattes. those cute shy ones who aren't yet too comfortable with the cash register. (my fantasies never veer too far from reality.)

Ok, then I'll vow to be upset about you

Evilly tricking me into a panicky double check to see if I really had ruined a serious thread.

I know what you mean about those slightly flustered starbucks boys, I was joking with a friend (when I had one) sob!!!now look what you've gone and done.... I can't even contin..

oh well, I said they must have a special gene pool for starbucks employees because they all had that almost too clean cut..but still really appealing.. and not in that HEllooo Ladies superslick cheeseball way.

Hmm... Perhaps... » .tabitha.

Just maybe Jay (who seems a bit shy-ish when it comes to girls) could get a job at Starbucks? :)
Ah, he doesn't need a job now :( Sorry Tabitha... you'll have to find your own Starbucks hottie.

You are too clever Sandra Dee. What a clever idea! LOL
I just realized though that in one of the other Psycho boards I replied to one of jays questions and added my current money tribulations in the response, I'd forgotten that he had received that inheritance
I hope he didn't think I was begging.

Aw, you opportunistic matchmakin' gals. Reminds me of a joke. What's the best pickup line?

"Sigh. What good is it to inherit 80 million dollars when you've got a heart condition?"

ROOFLES could it be. Reeling Over Our Flustered Learning Employees at Starbucks

Or Ruminating On Our Flab leaves Esteem Suffering

Okay I think I've killed that one.

It was my way of saying Hi Tabitha

LOL. That's the best one yet. Another totally lethargic day. Either it's the heat, or my summer high is over. Everything in my house feels hot to the touch. Yuck. And people say the weather in So Cal is so great. WELL IT"S NOT! IT"S TOO FRICKIN HOT! TOO HOT! Whoa, holding down the shift key that long was the most exercise I've gotten all day. I'm exhausted.
