who wants to be a cleric?

I wonder how many children of rich kids will want to go to Medical School this year?

If doctors are being socially ostracised as spreaders of disease and if it isn't cool to wear scrubs in public anymore then I wonder what will happen to Medical Admissions.

I suppose there is always the promise of a well-paying career in Medical Administration. Logistics and Supply. That kind of thing. Can do it from home, even, don't need to step foot in the hospital likely enough. Neither do the Medical Supplies har de har har.

I don't know what is going to happen to the UCAT examination this year.

I was the only person taking it in my time-slot last year. They clearly arranged for other people to be present in the room to ensure I wouldn't die of lonliness (many would) but I suppose they can just do the same thing again.

Several hundreds of dollars for them to collect up the data and... Give the places to the kids they were always going to give the places to.

Because, you know, everyone wants to work for the NHS. Best health system in the world.

What did the Doctors say: CoronaVirus is coming. We are powerless to stop it.

Yes...

Given that nobody does the things they are supposed to do the inevitable is inevitable. The modellers were right. Surprise surprise. Wasn't like they invested in their projections at all.

_______

I guess I am supposed to think that New Zealand is learnign about what it is to be a fairer society. We did have a lot of people making a living in touristy things and hospitality etc. And the trouble is that that was part of this thing whereby some people had more money than they needed for the basic essential stuff... While others did not have their basic essential needs met.

We currently have around 1/2 our people on welfare.

Meaningful work / employment doesn't really happen here.

THe mininster of health still gets paid to that. He broke quanantine 2x. He still gets paid even though they went 'shame shame' and 'you only keep getting paid because nobody else wants your job right now'.

Yeah, that's the kiwi way. 'You don't do your job so we will pay you to not do your job. So that nobody else gets to do your job.'

More money for you Minsiter of health. More money for you. All the money for you. All the money for you while you dno't do your job. Keep the title. Make sure nobody does your job.

Who wants to be the Ombudsman?

Making sure nobody sees corruption.

Lowest rate of perceived corruption in the world. Got by way of hiring a person who doesn' thave the cognitive capacity to apprehend corruption at all.

Who wants to be a Doctor?

Making sure the people get sick.

We only seem to hire the anti-job people. We only seem to hire people who make sure their job is not done.

Upside down and back to front land.

Who shall we pay to teach critical reasoning?

Maybe the person who doesn't have that capacity.

What can't you do??? Yeah, that'd be good job for you.

Mmm hmmm. Sure. The reason I dont get to study Medicine is becuase I don't have the capacity do that the way other people do.

The kids who proudly prance about with their dangly tags dangly dangle dangling as an 'in group' symbol of what program they got picked to be...

Like how they used to wear neck-ties.
And then they worse stethescopes as neck-ties.

Always something, always something, always something.

Always just following orders. Wearing the Uniform they were told to wear.

Always spread spread spread spreading the disease.

who wants to be on the medical admissions committee?

making sure the kids with the capacity to do medicine don't get to be picked.

the idea is one of beating up on people until they go away.

suppose you have a kid and it eats food and food costs money. the issue becomes just how mean you can be to the kid to get it to go away.

the universities here are just a joke. they pick the kids to do various things -- by nepotism and dumb luck. likely with a bribery component also...

and they pat themselves on the back they are getting 'first in family' kids through 'first in family degrees' and into 'first world jobs' like... processsing applications to university. where these 'first world jobs' mean that the people working them don't die of things like losing arms in machinery or losing joints working the fields...

cooped up in their chicken coop open floor offices with no air conditoning...

pretending to process pretending to proces pretending to process... pretending to be a first world country where things are processed.. scribbling out all the processes that are suppposed to be followed. bums on seats. cars in the wilsons car park. faces on the train.

the new zeealand dream!

we ain't in fiji or tonga anymore!

living the new zealadn dream!

watching the money go around...

so people can beat up on each other in their houses.

and our problem is that we don't have enough people.

we somehow think that if only we had all the people that china or the usa or europe has then things would miraculously self organise so that our rich people could be even richer.

stupider and stupider and richer and richer.

i mean we are moving towards the elmiination of literacy in the university. everything is taught by youtube style movie clips.

to hide and disguise the fact that there are no written laws and only a dense web of contradictory and conflicting and transient policy documents to create confusion

how much faster can we run backwards?
