Are you buying: probiotics=bad?

Posted by Lamdage22 on April 20, 2019, at 3:57:07

So apparently there has been a study on probiotics which everyone cites saying that probiotics are bad for you. I'm not buying it at all. Probably someone has gotten a lot of money. We live in an age where you can't trust studies. What are your 2 cents?

I had a course of antibiotics at age 13. Exactly when depression got a hold of me

The antibiotic was supposed to treat symptoms of a dust mite allergy. Now the doctor made me take cefurox for a skin infection

After finishing a course of antibiotics, it's very important to take probiotics and/or prebiotics. While taking antibiotics, it's a good idea to also take Saccharomyces boulardii (Florastor).

The company that would do the fecal transplant is very unprofessional. I am not doing this. The last thing I need is another infection.

Lamdage: Can you site the negative study?

I have read a number of published research studies finding benefits for various species and strains of probiotics in depression.

There are also a number of clinical trials currently ongoing.

I had been thinking of posting on some of these.

Thanks!
