oh, wow...fun coincidence: I've been reading about it and thinking about adding it into my anti-batshit cocktail.

looks like...there's soy and then there's sunflower varieties, for mega-supplementation. I'm leaning towards ordering the sunflower, because the cost is comparable and I wouldn't have to worry about soy making my manly hormones go wonky.

there's a little info about it (lecithin, that is) on my favorite health website: www.doctoryourself.com

scroll down a ways...there's a link on the left.

do you take antioxidants? right now, im focusing on C. my goal is to ramp up the C to 18ish grams/daily and the reintroduce the other basics of Orthomolecular. antioxidants can help prevent TD, according to the Orthomolecular people. just..throwing that out there.

:-)

maybe choline bitartrate as n alternative

i m not yet sure whether to add lecithin or choline bitartrate . i have ordered choline bitartrate 500mg caps as it is cheap n readily available where i am, the lecithin sold as emulsifiers seem bit dubious to me as a supplement. either case i am assuming both would work by increasing ach levels but the thing seems underreaserched for bipolar illness. has anyone had very good luck quelling swings of hypomania dysphoria rage with choline supps here?
