trimethylglycine (precursor to SAM-e)

Posted by world citizen on February 17, 2005, at 23:34:00

I just found TMG, otherwise known as trimethyglycine. It's purported to be a precursor to SAM-e manufactered within the body. I did some research in several sites (including Ray Sahalian). The site that seemed to be most explanatory was wizardofeyez.com. The way this stuff is supposed to "recycle" the SAM-e already in the body is very similar to alpha-lipoic acid and vit. e, etc. I've started taking it today will attept to deliver regular updates.

You should be taking this with vitamin B12. There are some good posts on this in the archives from Larry Hoover. You might want to check them out. (Ray Sahelian always recommends incredibly low dosages of supplements - just something to keep in mind.)
