Do not try what's written below, ie SSRI's apathy

Posted by Englishman006! on February 3, 2021, at 4:08:53

WARNING! Do not try benzos for apathy. The idea sounds good and may work for a short period of time. But may result in you becoming addicted to Benzos. Be warned!

Yeah, benzos are not known to be an effective treatment for apathy anyway.

Hi guys, I do apologies for that post. It was from way back and I thought I'd be able to contact klein with my positive experiences. I was horrified to see it go out to everyone. Not my intention.

The idea was to take a large dose of benzos for a couple of days then go a week without. You get a full range of emotions in that time but the weeks turn to days and gradually the effects diminish. Bummer, I really thought I was on to something there...

I recall that post. Maybe Lyrica / pregabalin would work similarly to what klein suggested. Its just a thought. FWIW, ketamine works for some people. (It did for me.)

Hi Beckett2, I have been interested in Ketamine for some time. Was it the infusion that you had or tablets? Did you have any side effects ie blood pressure? The reason being, I'm borderline hypertensive having had to come off my blood pressure medications in order to regain my mental health.

By the way I'm having some problems with the main page. It won't update for some reason and I was wondering if it's just my computer?

There are a lot of different blood pressure medications. I think you would probably be able to find some that don't have psychiatric side effects. Did you ask your doctor?

It seems to work all right for me. Sometimes, it helps to hold down the Shift key and click the "Reload" icon.

Just add Nortriptyline and apathy is history...
