Sixty-Five [Covid-19] patients elected to take fluvoxamine. Forty-eight declined. 12.5% of all those who refused fluvoxamine ended up hospitalized and one died. In the group that did take fluvoxamine, none of them were hospitalized.
Once again - none of the covid patients taking fluvoxamine deteriorated.

I still take an incredibly low dose of luvox generic. Without watching the full segment. Are they stiil saying that more than 300mg a day is what is needed? As over this amount for OCD at least is not good at all?

The dosage being used in the Covid trial:
Start fluvoxamine 50mg capsule once, then 100mg twice daily. May reduce dose for tolerability reasons.
Up to 200mg per day (2 capsules per day) as tolerated, for approximately 15 days

Thanks that is a suggested range of luvox for Ocd. I originally took 250mg but over the years now take only can you believe 12.5 mg a day. But I have a supply of them. Wouldn't it be great if this turns out to really work?

That would be great. The results of a much larger clinical trial could be announced as early as next month.

It will be a while until fluvoxamine receives FDA approval as a treatment for Covid-19. And this will only happen if the large clinical trial is a success. Being that fluvoxamine was approved years ago as an antidepressant, physicians are allowed to prescribe it for off-label purposes, such as Covid-19.

In the near future, pandemics could be a thing of the past. One of the experimental treatments discussed in this TV report has already been used to treat 300 people with Covid. It involves using a dialysis machine with a special filter that removes coronavirus from the blood.

Cool. But dialysis is a bit hard to perform on thousands of people at a time.
