prozac

there used to people filled on this form in the 2000s with taking fluoxetine, they all left in the 2010s. The only thing i notice with this med is makes a warm, when i frist started it i noticed a warm better feeling. But i've taken it so long, the original euphoric or distinct charasterics disappeared. I've been on it, very long time. 80mg max, kept me out of depression if i drink, and get up from laying down. It's bascially integrated into brain, so im familar with effects.

Does anyone here still take it

I took for almost 30 years - started it back in 1990 and took up until a little over a year ago.
It had seemed to have fizzled out, so I switched to
Pristiq, but then to Trintellix, which I've been taking for just over a year.
I did 15 Spravato treatments starting last year.
Not sure how much Trintellix is working.
My doctor suggested the possibility of trying fluoxetine again.

I'm just wondering if my 53-year old brain has just become hardened and resistent to anything available!
Perhaps I could add back in a very low dose (10mg) of fluoxetine to my Trintellix.

I can't start the day without Prozac, well, as every human can, they move through the day, but if i dont take prozac major depth into depression and very low mood. 80mg is the best and im only staying with prozac rest my life

Hi RJ:

I was on Prozac, and still take it if I am having major crisis with anxiety. But...it has landed me in the ER with almost psychotic anxiety...it WAS psychotic!!....like dementia. I switched back to Effexor...and just, had many years of terror filled anxiety. I am talking like, 25 years. Plus, tried many antipsychotics. With and without AD's. Plus, the usual problem for men...E.D.

Are you doing well on the Prozac (like a 0-10)? I have been on Psycho-babble since 2000 or so...always something-jay...always went with some name containing jay.

jay, yes i rerember you....i started babble in 2003, didnt become a known name until 2005

Prozac, some days it works, i feel optimistic a little euphoric on 80mg, but it's leveled out with lamogtragine. started in 2005, moved to 80mg

it makes me feel better, sometimes hypomania, or warm serotonin feeling, but if i don't take it, = dumps, graveyard, slumps
