Meds for bladder problems?

Posted by Lamdage22 on May 11, 2020, at 22:25:08

Hey guys,
i want to take a test over 2 hours and I have the problem that i can't go without a bathroom break that long. But a bathroom break is not designated for these 2 hours. Are there any meds that can help with that? I was once offered something, I can't remember what it was. I declined because I already take so many meds. But I'd like to take something just for a day or two so I can take the test without hassle. It is hard enough as it is.

Thanks

Anticholinergics. Maybe oxybutynin, but it can have cognitive adverse effects. Maybe find one that doesn't cross the blood-brain-barrier.

You may want to research Stinging Nettle Root. Google it. Good for bph and urinary issues. I've used it w pretty good results in the past for urinary retention bit it is supposed to help w urinary frequency as well.

I would seek a medical accommodation. If you have a doctor signing off, it's hard for them to deny you a washroom break. You could take drugs, but it may not be worth risking possible side effects.

Yeah, I will take the mock exam and test what happens if I just have a strong espresso and not drink any other fluids prior to the exam. If that doesnt work, I will talk to my doctor again.
