Ability--several questions

Posted by Noa on March 22, 2020, at 9:12:01

Hi all.
Does any one know if the elevated blood sugar effect of Abilify is dose-dependent?

Also, how soon after lowering one's Abilify dose (from 4 mg/day to 2 mg/day) would one expect to feel any withdrawal effects or mood changes (the Abilify is being used as an augmenter to antidepressants)?

Almost certainly. A doctor with experience of Abilify in many patients may be able to answer this with more certainty.

If I recall correctly, I quit 20 mg cold turkey, without any problem at all but relief from side effects. Others may not be so lucky, because with most drugs, there are differences between individuals.

don't have ana anenser, all i know is that the best thing is titrate slowly down. If the doctor takes off a high dose, they have the word idiot spelled on their forehead, i've dealt with many of them.

usually there's not much withdraw from slowly taking it down, you might notice some agitation, or discomfort, im not pharmologized in this area, but that's all i can say
