Experience with vilazodone (Viibryd)?

Posted by Franz on January 20, 2020, at 9:46:18

Hi. I read some old posts here about vilazodone but nothing conclusive? Is it better than other SSRIs?
I am trying it after sertraline. Took 10 mg and now 20. I don't feel much better mood. What should I expect?

At 20 mg it feels sedating lime escitalopram, which I hate

I tried Viibryd, but my response to it was very brief - about a week. I did not experience sedation. I didn't like escitalopram. It slowed me down too much.

If you haven't tried Trintellix (vortioxetine), I think it is worth considering. Some very stubborn cases have been successfully treated using it.

Scott,
Would you happen to recall what dosages were being used in those tough cases?
I've been taking Trintellix at 10mg daily for 5 weeks now.
