I was on diazepam for two months while I was tapering benzos. It was definitely more sedating than the other benzos I'd tried -- lorazepam and alprazolam. Because of this, and because of its long half-life, it wasn't as difficult to taper as lorazepam. But I wouldn't have wanted to feel that sedated indefinitely.
