I've been taking 5mg of selegeline with 1000mg dpla for a week, and after day 4 or 5, have experienced the onset of intense anxiety/irritability about 1 hr after taking it. I'd like to give it a fair trial, but the anxiety is unbearable. Will this remiss in time? Selegeline was my first choice because i can ill afford Ensam, but i may have no choice. How long does the selegiline take to start working?

You could try cutting out the DLPA for a bit and see if the anxiety abates.
I took 5mg selegeline without problems other than insomnia. YMMV of course.
