Is there anything that is suggestable for increase in dopamine (reason being, my doctor will not write a stimulant-amphetamine class, even Ritilin)
So now, where going on "hunt" for something that could be used for depression, and ADHD symtoms. The medication was refused which was Dexedrine Spansules.
There was a medication long ago...Merital (dopamine reptake inhibitor) And Cylert (pemoline) which my doctor would not even write that even it's a mild stimulant, good thing taken off the market.
Is there dopamine "stimulator" type medications? like for parkinson's.

Pramipexole is a nonergot dopamine agonist with high relative in vitro specificity and full intrinsic activity at the D2 subfamily of dopamine receptors, binding with higher affinity to D3 than to D2 or D4 receptor subtypes.
Memantine acts as a D2 agonist.

Wellbutrin is also used for ADHD. It block the reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine. Provigil also helps some people with ADHD. Its a stimulant but not scheduled.
Are you seeing a general practitioner or a psychiatrist?

Yes...it helps depression, yet Nuvigel is not noticeable but I think it has it's own way of working.
This is the end of the thread.
