I'm on Parnate and Lamictal for BP - hypomania.
Someone once mentioned the ADs that are least likely to induce mania. Does anyone have a reference that I can show to my pdoc?
(Parnate is the only AD that has really helped me).
Thanks in advance.

I don't have a source for you, but I have read that ssri's can induce mania for bipolar.

Wellbutrin is less likely to produce mania than many other ADs. Also, both Parnate and Wellbutrin are stimulating so if Parnate has helped maybe Wellbutrin will.
