Anyone know if it would be safe to combine these two medications?
Serzone has been somewhat helpful, but I sleep soo much and feel drained alot of the time, but its good to level my mood and anxiety.
Please let me know

If this is the case yow may try to take all the dose at night. And wait... wait... how long have you been taking it? sedation tends to go off with time. But not for everyone.
Adding bupropion might somewaht do but it's an unusual combination. Bupropion is most commonly combined with Zoloft ("Well-Loft") or with SSRIs. Also, it may worsen anxiety.
Your best bet for the sedation would be Provigil. However, did you try any of the SSRIs before?

It's a gamble trying to predict meds. That being said, you might consider provigil for the sedation as well as possible mood enhancement. At remedyfind.com provigil is top ranked by people who have used it to counter antidepressant sedation, and many of them get a mood improvement too. Meds that would probably work include provigil, ritalin, adderall, burpropion. Provigil seems the tamest in terms of side effects and adverse reactions. And it works very fast. But mileage varies, so you never know.
Serzone does have some liver damage risk which is why it was removed from the USA market. Where did you get it?

I have used Serzone for over 10 years and had my liver tested alot and it was always fine.. I think the possible liver damage is serious, but not very common. Anyway, Serzone is the only thing that even somewhat works, I have tried everything, the only problem is that its sedating and I feel drained , but still so far the best. I have tried it with provigil before without much success, I need more of a punch in the antidepressant department and stimulation.
Thats why I was thinkung bupropion .Serzone is still available in the US , got it at the pharmacy.. just under the generic name Nefazodone/.

Provigil is a way more strimulating than bupropion. What doses did you try? Provigil is frequently underdosed.

I am going to look into that ..
I cant remember the dose, it was one white pill. maybe you know what they look like?
Does provigil help with concentration and motivation? That is a big problem.

it always makes me a bit suspicious when someone says a med works but they are run down or tired
you sure you are not too "dulled out" to know whether or not the med should be changed.
i ask because this has happened to me several times.
i tried serzone a number of years ago and couldn't even walk at a normal pace. was late for everything and had an hour long flu every afternoon.
