It is almost 2 years since I have come off of Ativan and Geodon and I still have twitches and muscle jerks which scare me. It feels like I am falling off the bed when they happen. I understand the mind stuff happening but why so many physical symptoms 2 years later?

After two years, I doubt very much those jerks are related to the drugs.
You say they're so bad that you almost fall out of bed? Does that mean that you have them in bed, while you're trying to get to sleep? If they're happening there, and not other places, there is a sort of jerking thing that happens under that circumstance. I can't remember what it's called, but I'm sure someone else here knows and will tell you about it.
And, of course, the first thing to do in addressing it is talk to your doctor. (And a hint about that: start off by describing the symptom, rather than what you think is the cause.)

I know this is drug related cause I never had this ever in my life and as soon as I quit the drugs the twitching and jerking started so I am blaming the drugs as the cause. I remember someone posting that this is a cause from the neuroleptics.

Are you talking about myoclonic jerking or is it more the type of Trydive dyskonesia. I know it doesn't cause muscle twitching but it can cause relessness which could be confused with muccle twiching. Fondly, Phillipa

No, nothing like dyskinesia. It is a jerk like when you are falling asleep and your body jerks fast and hard but has a little jerk. The muscle twitches are in my eyelid and foot and back and legs. They really have diminished but still are there. I am 32 years old and never had one util I came off the drugs and they were non stop.
Also, I notice myself sticking my tongue out and holding it and biting down b/c I am excited or tense and it releases the tension. I also screech sometimes to let the pressure out. What is going on with me? I am concerned but don't want to go to the doctor b/c they are the ones who got me into this mess.
