I took 15 mg of Nardil about an hour ago and went straight to my head. My neck hurts and I can feel a headache coming on. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. I didn't eat anything today that would be an an MAOI "no-no". Well I didn't eat anything actually. Maybe that is the problem.
I am just sitting here sobbing. I know my eating disorder is messing me up but I can't stop it. I can't stop starving myself. I JUST WANT TO DISAPPEAR!
I AM NOT GOING TO CUT!
I feel like my head is going to explode. It hurts so much ... right at the base of head ... in my neck. Go away! Go away! Thorazine. I need to take some thorazine. ARGH! This is a f'ing vicous circle. I just want it to stop. Please make it stop!!!!!!!
Crisis line? Maybe I better call the crisis line. No. I have to deal with this myself.

Even my eyes hurt. They feel like they are going to pop out of my head. And I am so hot!!!!
Okay Maxime, just take 25 mg of Thorazine and you will feel better.
I'm going to take some thorazine and hopefully this pain will go away.

I just threw up. I know that is "too much information" but maybe I will start to feel better. Nardil does not like me and the feeling is mutual. God I feel AWFUL!

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with Nardil.Do you have a blood pressure monitor? If so, try to take your BP if that happens again. That will tell you if you are having a hypertensive crisis or not.
Are you taking any other meds? Anything over the counter or any supplements? How is your BP normally?

Hi GG, there won't be a next time. That was my second attempt with the Nardil. I thought I would try it again with my system void of any Parnate. But after one dose that is what happened. It's clearly not te med for me. Parnate never did that to me. I could also eat whatever I wanted on the Parnate ( although being an anorectic, I don't eat a wide variety of foods and I am vegetarian).
So I am taking the Parnate until help comes along whether it be DBS ... or DBS. Who knows.

Thanks Phillipa. The thorazine did help with the physical symtoms.
I remain in a state of apathy. My apathy is so bad that I am not even at risk for suicide.
