Hi, I'm new to this. My Dx is Generalized Anxiety Disorder and insomnia X 10 years and was on Serzone and Effexor XL until Serzone went off the market and I had to replace it with Remeron 30 mg for the past year or so. Really pleased with the sleep but just can't handle the weight gain anymore and want to consider adding Wellbutrin. I have seen sites where Wellbutrin and Effexor were used together and I've seen where Wellbutrin and Remeron were used together. Does anyone have any experience with the three used together? What dosages?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry, I'm effexor xr 150mg, wellbutrin xl 300mg, and then Ambien 5mg and Xanax .5mg for panic too.
(The effexor and wellbutrin are great with me, but WB takes away any desire to sleep unless I take ambien.

I'm on 75mg effexor, 45mg Remeron, and tried adding Wellbutrin 150mg but I didn't too much care for it since it made me extremely thirsty and left a funky taste in my mouth. It might have helped a little with anxiety, but I still didn't like it. Give it a shot, it might work 4 u. If it doesn't, then on to the next, right? :-0 peace

Thanks, Thinkfast. My Pdoc didn't like the idea, either, so I'm going off the Remeron (due mostly to weight gain and becoming more and more depressed -- maybe due in part to the weight gain) and replacing it with Celexa. I still take a small dose of Clonazepam throughout the day.
I just love this site (thanks, Dr. Bob)... knowing there's real people out there who understand the frustrations of this "trial and error" way of living.
