This was my first anti depressant.
I took it in the evening , it made me sleepy.
Unfortunately didn't do much for my depression...but I was drinking heavily.
I f you're worried about weight gain with meds..Prozac and wellbutrin made me gain alot of weight ( usually does the opposite ) Paxil I'm losing a lot of weight ( usually gain )
Side effects common arn't to be taken as what will happen to you.
I'd give it a go.
Take care.

You need to take some medication or go visit one of Dr. Bobs other boards. Here is some links:

We can't help you here if you don't like taking drugs. :)

Personally, I think you should take Effexor again, it worked before & it would be even better combined with Remeron.

Cheers,
Panda.

Hi

Most of the anxiety is probably stopping remeron.
Dothiepin helps with anxiety.
I know how you feel about going into hospital I've refused going..nowadays though you have your own room.
I hope you have a family member around keeping an eye on you.
As you start the dothiepin you'll feel sedated and chilled out.

I also would take it if I were you.
But remember, you always have the option to visit a private pdoc... IMO You need treatment, the right treatment...

take care
