Pleco Man

redux:

Accustomed to the pressures of the deep,
We bottom feeders swim among the detritus
Emerging from the shadows only at night
When we carefully peruse
The territories of the daylight dwellers.
Easily startled, we dart back to our murky havens
Where we furtively thrive off the refuse of the
Colorful desired-ones above us.

Ingenious, and makes a lot of sense to me. I can relate to this poem in so many ways...especially right now...Should I be able to do that?
