I hope you are ok wherever you are
I hope you have found your shining star
I wish you could find some inner peace
I wish you could set your worries at ease
I thought that things might be getting better
Guess for us that would be a real trend setter
That would shock the daylights out of our peers
And be met with disbelief and limited cheers
But I must say hold on, for I must hold on
I have to stay strong, when all strength is gone
I have to fake a smile, when my face is contorted
I have to see hope, when my hopes are distorted
So please hold on too, Hold on to that shred
Of hope that is dangling seemingly by a thread
Perhaps we can gather all the pieces together
And sew them with love to withstand any weather
