No beauty like a broken shell
Tells so graphically
The tale of grim crustacean war
With living armory,Of jaws ungodly gnashing out
Horrific injury,
Of fateful daring soirees
To fatal tragedy.Compared to this, a perfect
Shell has what to tell?
Of knitting in the shallows?
Of living safe and well?Id rather draw old women,
Id rather play the fool,
Id rather croon a homemade tune:
Imperfect, beautiful.
This is the end of the thread.
