It's meant to be 'dieing'.

meaning I guess, that most of our suffering is fictitious, which sounds provocative, but I think he means that much of our suffering comes from the stories we tell ourselves and each other.

Yes, I've felt like that too, I mean, I feel like a train wreck that's gone on waaaaaayyyyyyyyyyytooooooooooooloooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg. Like, screamingly end this f*ck*ng thing, now, before I embarrass and humiliate myself any further, before I just subside into the negative side of the equation.
