Not writing, I am not writing on the Writing Page, I am simply spewing forth thoughts and things that happen, this is a diary, my diary, and my apology also, for being so numb-skulled, dim-witted and essentially so Asleep to the wonderfulness of what I could have been that I became what I am.
Yesterday I took my beautiful 11 year-old son to see The Water Horse, a movie right up his alley, and he loved it. But I remember the scene which closely involved a toilet, and someone wrestling with something in it, and it doesn't matter what it was, but the fact is that we have more and more of that in our media, this involvement with the toilet. And because I work in a hospital and workers are for the most part so Totally Aware of what comes from toilets, what illnesses come from contact with all sorts of surfaces, that it seems to me that media becomes more and more open about its hostility to Fact, to human awareness, to Body Consciousness and Science and more and more into pushing ways of being on us that we can't live with. But the essential fact of this movie, the essential message of the wholeness of it, is that any war is really a war against oneself. In that sense, any movie like this is good, although we have so many of them, so many messages we need to see in a different way. End of rant.
This is the end of the thread.
