I'm glad you got it Sig. I better explain. Wednesday I was given a referral on a 68-yer old guy whose son was denying his sisters access to their father's house. The son was only described as intimidating and controlling in the report. I don't usually call the cops on a cold call but I had a feeling about this one, so as a precaution I did. When I met the cops in front of the house they knew the guy from disputes the guy had had with neighbors. The elderly client came to the door but couldnt open it. As we went around to the side door I noticed the garage door open and a wet black pick-up truck that evidently someone was washing. Approaching the garage we were confronted by a wall of red, black and white. The garage was covered with Nazi banners, swastikas and white supremasist paraphenalia. The son dressed in army cammo had a skinned head that was growing out. He politely led us inside. There we found his father to be confused though the home was impeccably, almost unnaturally clean. The son was not only OCD but also had no ability to listen without becoming defensive, agitated and interrupting. I was trying to explain how leaving his father locked in the house was a greater risk in a fire than his wandering would be when the the son blurted out that he had installed the locks when he came home and found that his father had let a n*gger in the house. The hispanic officer didn't flinch, but I guess I had never heard such intense hatred so overtly spoken. As the father was safe enough there was no involutary action warranted. We left the house knowing we would never get in again.
As a chronically mentally ill person I have been thinking about what my chances would have been at surviving Nazi Germany in the 30s before the discovery of lithium. Probably about as good a chance as that skinhead learning anything from what I told him.

On the subject of surviving Nazi euthanasia.
I've often wondered if Asperger's criteria and prognoses were more positive than Kanner's because Asperger was working in Vienna (I think) with the murder of the mentally unfit (if you will excuse such an appalling expression) a real possibility and a recent event.
After the Tasering at Vancouver we were shown a heap of them on TV.
I was absolutely appalled.
So much better to get a bullet in the head.
That's what I'd prefer for myself.
