I have been on cymbalta for 1 year to help control my anger towards my wife. It seemed to help for a while but then seemed like it did not work anymore I was taking 60 mg a day . My doctor wanted to increase the dosage to 120 mg a day and wrote me a prescription for this. I told him I would but I never did take more than 60 mg a day because I felt like S$%^& from taking just one. I also am on Tricor for high cholesterol and warafin for blood clots in my legs. when I started on cymbalta I weighed 230 lbs as of last month I weigh 293 lbs and my doctor says that the cymbalta is not to blame I disagree with him. I feel lathargic, lazy, tired at work my boss thinks I have sleep apnea, I get tired just cleaning up myself after going to the bathroom. In June I got a new job in Georgia and moved away from my family including my wife and girls. I decided if I am by myself down here do I really need to be taking this. I decided 3 weeks ago to stop taking this without even a thought of weening myself off of this. I quit cold turkey. I have had severe migraines which I never have gotten before all of my muscles ache I live on the 3rd floor of a apartment building and I feel like I am about to die every day from climbing those stairs after work. It takes me around a 1/2 hour to recover from this. Before I started taking this drug I was playing Ice hockey twice a week for 2 hours and my cardio was superb. I also played basketball 2 times a week as well as golfing on a league. now I dread having to leave my apartment unless I am going to work. I have been having bad dreams where I have been killing people. I cannot sleep at night but when I am at work I have no problem falling asleep at my desk. I feel this drug has permenently done damage to me and my brain not to mention my other organs. My doctor did give me Percocet to relive my aches and pains and I thought I was going through Percocet withdrawls but I was only taking them on the weekends when I tried to go out and enjoy the weekend. After reading all of the posts on this sight I now know the nausea, vomiting diareaa and chills seem to accompanied from Cymbalta. I will never put a tablet in my mouth again. I have just decided that I am going to deal with this on my own and I am unable to tell anyone other than all of you. If I told my wife she will make me go back on it as she feels it helps control my anger but basically it is just sapping all of my energy to even put up a fight or even care. I was wondering how long this nausea and migraines will last and what I need to get this out of my system quicker. Thanks for you time, Mike
