Accustomed to the pressures of the deep,
We bottom feeders
Swim among the detrius and waste,
Emerging from the shadows only at night
When we carefully cruise
The territories of the daylight dwellers.
Easily startled,
We dart back to our murky, abysmal havens
Where we thrive off of the refuse of the
Colorful desired ones above.

I wish I mainly identified with a butterfly, a wolf, or an eagle, but sadly, most of the time I'm afraid, I feel like an algae eater, Declan.

I dunno about Paraguay, although Stroessner was fun to read about. No argument with Bolivia or Peru.
But that article had nice things to say about that fish........peaceful, intelligent, anyone would like to own one.
It sounds like we have a future.

Yeah, I know, Declan. It's just that I'd like to colorfully glide with confidence through the light every now and then also.

Hi aim,
I rarely come out from under the shadows these days. BTW, I meant to say detritus. Hate those frickin' typos. My wife and I are individually doing just OK. Now that the kids have returned to college, together we are doing slightly better. Thanks. Toph
