It's been hard, it's a long, long road, and yet so short, in the end. Too short. And the more reading I do, the more documentaries I watch, the sicker and more hopeless I feel.
There are so many traitors in our world .. do you know there is a hugely rich country full of sick corporate lawyers, politicians, and bought-off middlemen who are bleeding the world dry with their self-made and self-enforced laws and greed for money, money, more and more money and power, oh yes .. power with which they are bringing the entire world, the Entire World to it's knees .. and nothing is being done to fight them off. Because everyone has become intimidated and afraid of this country, even it's own citizens.
The country's own citizens has become afraid of the power of the political machine that moves it ... backward to destruction, destruction of the entire planet even as we sit and allow the temperature to go up, up, up beyond what we can bear.
The world is actually being destroyed right before our eyes and it seems like there's nothing we can do about it.
We're so weak, and the megalomaniacs seem to be so strong. We allow them to distract us from the real issues, because we feel hopeless to fight the corporate greed, and many are embroiled in it themselves.
How to heal this world, Joan?
How? When I can't see beyond the end of my own nose?
