crowd flow

Posted by sleepygirl on June 22, 2006, at 20:32:51

bewildering spaces..
I can't feel a thing
why am I crying though?
who are you?
does it matter?
I don't know...
I'm tired
I don't know

just another drop in the leaking bucket
another gummi bear left to melt in the car to form a gelatinous mound of gumminess
all colors bleed to red...what was that gordo?
fuckin' right they do!
I can't see their faces
through the echoes of my mind
blur, blur, blurbity blurb
2nd verse same as the first!

that's what I always hope for you after all
just a drop in the bucket is all

to major tom...
commencing countdown, engines on
planet earth is blue
and there's nothing I can do...
absolutely nothing I can do

I really do love those gummi bears...

but they melted in the car...and all I was left with was a big multi-colored mound of gumminess
it was soooo sad, and even if I buy another bag, those gummis met their maker that day, back to the great primordial soup they went...
and so it goes

maybe I should get a journal or something.....

my brother once found a journal of mine I was required to have for a religion class in high school
I had to reflect on moral and religious issues and ideas
I found him laughing as he read it
I was enraged at first, feeling violated and intruded upon, until he said
wait, wait, just read it.....
it was actually pretty funny
I couldn't blame him

Your gummi bears were just borrowing carbon. They're still alive somewhere. Incorporated into the greenhouse gas layer after being incinerated at the dump, they will be absorbed by some happy tree, basking in the June sunshine, growing more leaves, and those leaves are your gummibears. You can weep for them again when you rake in the fall. In the meanwhile, keep 'em in the freezer. They're delicious frozen. Family secret.

Domine GummiBear
Sanctus

:-) and the cycle goes on....

ashes to ashes, gummi to gummi
I find comfort in knowing nothing really dies...
