Encouraging words, smiles they bring
Words that hurt, feel the sting
Hurtful words, pierce like a spear
Promising words, we hold so dear
Words of hope, deliver good cheer
Words of despair, cause many tears
Complimentary words, spoken so gently
Words that bring heartache, voiced so intently
Words of sadness, crush a spirit
Loving words, uplift souls
Words can be powerful, mouth them with more control
Kind-hearted words, pass the love with thoughtfulness
Not so hard to utter, instead of words that digress.

hey. that was lovely :-)
thank you.
i forget the power of words sometimes.
spread of affect...
i think of it like that, but i've been told that is my own 'unique' terminology lol.
but it happens in herds. a herd of deer or something. one gets startled and the affect / emotion is transmitted / spread to the other animals in the herd. i think people can be like that too. trying to convey their emotion by evoking their emotion in others.
i do this sometimes when i'm upset :-(
go around creating upsets :-(be the change you want to see...
or something.
thanks for your post :-)
