They hide inside and fester and scab over, eventually healing but leaving a nasty scar.
The soul, like the body, recovers even if you don't want it to.

The soul heals over but the scars never go away. So true. And the scars seem to get deeper and deeper and more painful as time goes by. I just don't know how strong I am to take it. Is my soul so resilient as yours? I want strength and peace of mind. Where to go for that?
