I don't know if anyone speaks french, but we did this poem in class, and I thought it was really moving... well the second strophe anyways. I'll try to translate it
Je marcherai les yeux fixes sure mes pensees,
Sans rien voir au-dehors, sans entendre aucun bruit,
Seul, inconnu, le dos courbe, les mains croisees,
Triste, et le jour pour moi sera comme la nuit.I will walk with eyes fixed on my thoughts
Without seeing outside, without hearing the noise
Alone, unknown, back bent, hands crossed
Sad, and the day for me is like the night
