aimless thoughts

I used to like to walk in the rain
Getting soaked to the skin
It felt sooooooo good
I don't do that anymore
Too bad

LOL I stood out the back of my place the other day in the pouring rain. It felt great, I'd forgotten how good. You really should do it again soon.

Lucky you. I'm jealous. Unfortunately, we are heading into winter here in Canada, so it's a bit cold to stand out getting nice and refreshingly drenched by the rain. But, the first big rain next spring - I'm there. I'll sit in my backyard, in the lotus position, enjoying it. It feels so good!!!!

Have a good day :-)

i haven't done that for a fair while now...
last time i did...
i got caught in a thunderstorm.
the water droplets were huge
torrential rain
i got soaked
but mid summer
at night
the lightening cracking across the sky
beautiful.

Hah! Over the weekend this thread brought back lovely memories for me of sitting outside as a kid in thunderstorms. Feeling the changes in the airpressure, sensing the closeness of the storm, the deep rumbling of the thunder resonating through me, the crackle of electricity in the air, the lightening, and the big, fat heavy rain drops. Really nice memories.

Thanks TamaraJ

-- LOL, I was in the shower, with the water running over me and me not wanting to get out, when I thought about how nice it feels to walk in the rain. But, yeah, it's not quite the same thing.

-- I got caught in one of those types of storms heading home from the river where I always walked my dog. She can't stand the rain, and wasn't very happy to get caught in the storm. Poor her, we still had about a 1/2 hour walk to get home. Oh well, she didn't melt LOL.

BTW, sorry about your block. That's a real bummer :-(

Your very welcome :-) (nm) » Damos

I get the feeling that people care less and less about each other as populations get larger and larger. Am I making this up in my head? or can others see what I mean? It depresses the holy hell out of me when I think about it for more than a couple minutes, but isn't thinking about something and then acting the only way to do something about it? Now I just have to do something...
