I Felt You Last Night

Posted by AdaGrace on October 4, 2005, at 20:25:38

You came to me in the darkness of night.
Cold and lonely I cried out right.

I ached for you to touch me tenderly.
I called to you begging you to remember me.

It's cold and empty,
It's glib and sureal.
This world I live in,
Without you to feel.

Where does your heart sleep,
Where does it rest?
Why can't I get over you,
Why were you the best?

AdaGrace,
Your poem is beautiful. I'm sorry that you can't be with the one you really love. I've felt that way before too.
