Did you feel my stinging pain
Where were you when I fell from grace
When I was standing in that empty place

I don't need a hero anymore
Life's a joke and then there's more
I don't want a hero just stay away
Heroes die young anyway

All your worry and your sacrifice
Left you to pay the highest price
Now you're gone and I guess you see
I can't wrap my arms around a memory

Life is just a vicious lie
The more lives you touch, the quicker you die
Good intentions pave the way to hell
Follow that road and time will tell
