Where is the serenity of a beautiful dawn?
Where is the peace of the dew soaked lawn?
Sunsets forgotten,
Quiet nights not cherished,
dreams too rotten.The burning soul cannot see nor hear
anything beautiful, peaceful, or serene.
For it churns in twisted torment,
drowning in memories of fonder scenes.The night of the rose and the slow sensual dance shared by two lovers,
The entertwined stories of two tragicaly lost mothers.The passionate embraces snuck in the car,
The explorations of places unknown near and far.the closeness of friendship forged into love,
Conversations regarding the power up above.The poetic phrases full of amorous feelings,
Lovely words sending the heart reeling.The birthday dinner, the wirlwind tour,
The presents presented, cherished I'm sure.All there, tumbling and turning, constantly reminding,
feelings lost, feelings changed, feelings hard pressed at ever re-finding.Lonely girl, pushed away and tossed in the trash,
Sitting and weeping of everything that past.
Wondering hopelessly if life will ever improve,
laying in bed thinking, unable to move.Who will give her the love she needs?
Who will help her get over the heart that bleeds?Noone, because noone can.
To get over the hurt is to be able to be hurt again.Yet she hurts others all the same,
Pretending to be happy living a life of shame.Confusion abounds
Pain is steadfast
Mourning continues
