A Poem to say Good-bye

Posted by Daisym on September 15, 2005, at 19:19:16

I like when poetry basically writes itself. This was for my therapist because he is leaving on vacation. He said he was honored. :)

Boy, am I sappy, or what?
Just In Case…

There are things to say,
Before you go,
Though I think you know.

But Just In Case…

You’ve changed my life,
I’m different now,
Better; Softer some how.

Though a storm still threatens,
And there is work to do,
I now believe we’ll see it through.

But Just In Case…

Please never doubt,
What it’s meant to me,
That you could really see.
(and listened endlessly).

I think I’ve said,
And you can feel it’s true,
How much I care for you.

But Just In Case…
