I like when poetry basically writes itself. This was for my therapist because he is leaving on vacation. He said he was honored. :)
Boy, am I sappy, or what?
Just In Case…There are things to say,
Before you go,
Though I think you know.
But Just In Case…You’ve changed my life,
I’m different now,
Better; Softer some how.Though a storm still threatens,
And there is work to do,
I now believe we’ll see it through. But Just In Case…
Please never doubt,
What it’s meant to me,
That you could really see.
(and listened endlessly).I think I’ve said,
And you can feel it’s true,
How much I care for you.But Just In Case…
