Hullo Sabrina!
I know. I haven't been here for a spell. Sometimes the poems come, and sometimes they don't. I can't really explain it. When they do, it's as if I can't get them down fast enough. When they don't, well, they just don't, and trying to force them usually results in work that I'm disappointed with in the long run. It was fascinating to hear Bob Dylan say the same thing in an interview on "60 Minutes" a few weeks back. I didn't think that sort of thing happened to poets as gifted as he is. I'm not sure the cynical, anti-war Easter poem I just posted is going to be your cup of meat, luv, but I'm glad something finally knocked on the door of my brain and said, "Here I am." On the other hand, focusing more on socializing on Babble has kind of been what I've needed more over the past few months. Thanks so much for your kind words, though. I may have a verse or two left in me yet. Ta. ;) Atticus
