I am howling

I am howling
my throat vibrating
the pale moon rising
our mountain top fir trees outlined
by the alabaster glow

It's a site about howling wolves, but I confess that I can't hear the various wolves because my audio card isn't cooperating. Isn't it cool how with the brush strokes of only a few words you paint a picture of a wolf howling at a rising moon and most everyone sees about the same thing in their mind?

You know what? Until I saw what you'd written that wasn't what I pictured at all. Looking back though, it seems almost impossible.

I don't know what I was thinking about at the time. Most people don't see anything the way I see things. What did you picture?

Oh I was thinking that it was someone so full of emotion that they were aching to break free of their body, into the sky ya know?

Now, as for Jai's second and third poems in this series, I bet we have the same images...
