A dream
The swelling
Of your mother’s belly
A faint heartbeat
The wonder of birth
Your first breath
Ten fingers and toes
Taking you home
To new mystery
New challenges
New discovery
The unfolding
Of a life
Crying
Eating
Crawling
Walking
Talking
Learning
School
Music
Friends
The pride
The joy
The frustration
Now a new dream
A beautiful young man
His adult life before him
My friend
My confidant
My companion
My son
The love of my life

aw, ron, that's really sweet. well done! tells a complete story, has a great rhythm...i'm gonna have to take me one of them courses..;) hope you've shown it to your son! :-)
