I am keening...I miss you

Posted by Jai Narayan on September 19, 2004, at 21:09:54

I am keening
my head back and letting the full throated sound come
I miss you
strange how our lovely connection is severed
silly me, why did I think it would be any different
you were clear on how I had messed up
our sharing was so uplifting
undulating with the grief
I let my throat feel the vibration of this lament
my feelings are on overload
I am sad
so it is over
so I must let go
you are gone to me
our connection failing
union of the mind and spirit
I miss you
Jai

If I'm being presumptuous in thinking this is directed at me, then I apologize, and you needn't waste any more time on this post. If it is, then here is what I have to say. I'm not going to be indirect or subtle here because that has simply not worked in the past. I only stipulated three things regarding any future communication between us: no e-mails (a stipulation you immediately defied by sending me a subsequent e-mail, which I deleted unread), all future communication must occur within the forum of the PB site (either on Social or Writing), and you must not discuss the topic that I requested that you not bring up again (if the topic is brought up, all interaction will cease completely). If you can live with this arrangement, which is pretty much what we had going before, fine. If not, well, that is your decision. I'm sorry if this message appears brusque. I do feel for you, but this is a situation entirely of your own making. Be well. Atticus
